Re-engineering the odds for success


During a 2015 pitch, we conceptualised a print recruitment campaign for the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), a statutory board under Singapore’s Ministry of Defence.

Titled Re-Engineer the Odds, our campaign targeted engineering students from local polytechnics and universities, and focused on the strategic importance of DSTA.

As an agency entrusted with ensuring that Singapore, a small country, always has an edge over larger military forces, our proposed visuals for DSTA were inspired by chess, where strategic thinking can help one gain the upper hand.
